GenUI Labs LLC (“GenUI Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software design and development services and operates the website located at genuilabs.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Site, contact us, or engage our services. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
If you are a client, your contract (e.g., Client Project Development Agreement, Change Orders, and Handoff Agreement) also applies. In case of conflict, your contract controls for the project relationship.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide to us
- Contact details (name, email address, phone number, company, role)
- Project information (requirements, content you upload or send)
- Billing and payment contact details (we do not store full payment card details)
- Communications (emails, messages in the client portal)
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data (pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit pages, timestamps)
- Device/technical data (IP address, browser type/version, OS, screen size)
- Cookies and similar technologies for session management, preferences, analytics, and fraud prevention. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.
1.3 Information from third parties
- Payment processors and platforms (e.g., QuickBooks/Intuit, Stripe/PayPal): payment confirmations, status, limited transaction metadata
- Hosting/DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub, Vercel, Render, Supabase): access and repository activity related to your project
- Identity/communication tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Voice): contact and messaging metadata
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services
- Communicate with you about proposals, projects, and support
- Set up and manage accounts, invoices, and payments
- Detect, prevent, and investigate security issues and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect our rights
3. When We Share Information
We share information with:
- Vendors/service providers who perform services for us (hosting, client portal, analytics, payment processing, communications). They are restricted to using data on our behalf.
- Financing/BNPL partners (e.g., Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later) when you choose those options; their privacy policies govern your use of their services.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect our rights or others.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax/audit), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type and contractual requirements.

We use industry-standard safeguards (MFA, strong passwords, encryption in transit, role-based access, regular updates). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Choices
- Cookies: control via browser settings; optional cookie banner may appear for analytics.
- Marketing emails: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails; we may still send transactional messages.
- Access/Deletion: email us to request a copy or deletion of your data, subject to lawful exceptions.
7. California/State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California (or a state with similar consumer privacy laws), you may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt-out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise rights, contact us (see Section 11). We will verify requests and respond as required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. International Visitors
We are U.S.-based. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” will reflect the latest version.
